Nucor supports youth

Nucor is strengthening its commitment to youth robotics and STEM education through its support of the Northeast iHub and local robotics programs, helping students develop skills that can lead to future careers in technology, manufacturing, and engineering.

Nucor has invested $250,000 in the Northeast iHub and sponsored its first robotics team four years ago, with their support growing to seven teams today. These robotics teams utilize the facility’s state-ofthe-art resources. The company views robotics as a powerful way to introduce young people to STEM fields while helping them envision career opportunities close to home.
