On a Saturday teetering between pleasantly warm and the induction of the new sweater weather season, Elkhorn Valley had just two of its golfers on the course and worked through another weekend invite.
The Falcons, led in the Pierce Invite by Delilah Qualset and Ruby Durre, finished the meet with its top golfer in the top 30 of the field.
Qualset took that spot for the Falcons, golfing her best round in the back nine by shaving off a stroke from her first nine holes. She finished in 28th place with a 111.
Durre stayed ahead of a couple of golfers, using a stronger front nine to finish her day with a 150.
The top scores of the invite were a pair of 86s, all members of the top-10 scoring under 95.
The Falcons will have competed in a dual with Stanton on Tuesday.
