marked the start of Bishop Neumann’s drives to turn the game back to the champs. A 27-point second quarter put the Braves down 20 at half, and while a Thompson score through the air to Breylin Witzel cut into the deficit, the game ended with the visitors well on top.
The Braves put together a solid show against the champs, gaining 290 yards on offense with Thompson completing just under 50% of his throws. Bishop Neumann dominated the ground game, two 100-plus yard rushers leading the way to a 491-yard day of offense.
The Braves (1-2) hit the road next to take on Yutan. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
